Gift Box “The First Cup”

This box is built for one scene: someone arrives at your door at seven in the morning, the cup goes on the table, and you hear it — water, the crack of sugar, the grind of coffee.

Everything rests on the copper džezva. It is hammered in a Sarajevo workshop, from a single piece of copper. It is not perfectly smooth, and that is on purpose — hand-hammered copper holds heat better than cast, so the coffee stays hot for longer.

What is inside

A hand-hammered copper džezva ready for the stove, 100 g of Bosnian coffee, a jar of honey, three chocolate pralines, and an Aurea card with a QR code.

How to brew

Pour cold water over the coffee, bring it to the foam, then take it off the heat while it is still rising. Add the honey only once the coffee has cooled a little.

Never wash the džezva with detergent — hot water and a dry cloth is enough. Copper darkens with use, which is exactly what you want to see: on old džezve it is a mark of quality.
