Acacia honey is the lightest in the beeJapa range: almost clear, gently aromatic and mild. That is why it is also eaten by people who usually do not like honey — it does not impose itself in tea or yoghurt.
Why it stays liquid so long
Acacia nectar has more fructose than other honeys, so crystallisation is slow. A jar can stay liquid for months; if it does thicken, stand the jar in warm water and stir.
How to use it
A spoon in black coffee, chamomile tea, or over wholegrain bread and butter. It is milder than wildflower and forest honey, so it does not mask the drink.
Available in 150 g, 250 g, 350 g, 450 g, 900 g (wooden lid) and 900 g (jute). The price shown is for 150 g.
