Honey varies in flavour, aroma and texture. If you are choosing for the first time, start with whether you prefer something mild or more pronounced.
Mild and floral flavours
Acacia honey is light and mild. It suits coffee, tea or yoghurt when you do not want the honey to take over. Wildflower honey changes in colour and aroma from one pasture to another, making it an easy everyday choice.
More pronounced honeys
Forest honey is darker and fuller in flavour. Chestnut honey has a stronger aroma and a gently bitter finish. For fragrant notes, also explore linden, sage and heather honey.
Honeycomb
Honey in the comb comes as a piece of comb, while honeycomb in honey is a piece of comb submerged in a jar of honey. The wax is chewed, not swallowed.
How to choose
For a mild flavour, try acacia or wildflower honey. For a stronger aroma, choose forest or chestnut. If you want a different texture, explore honeycomb. Compare varieties, sizes and prices in Bosnian honey, or browse the full beeJapa range. The products are packed in Sanski Most.
