Full description
Jalapeño chillies are sliced thin and put into vinegar with pepper and coriander. Everything is done by hand, in small batches, which is why they are usually sold out by January or February.
The slices are deliberately thin: a burger, a pizza or a sandwich gets a real amount of crunch and heat rather than one piece that does not fit. For dips and sides, slice them across.
Sizes and prices
There are two jars: 370 ml for 6,00 KM and 720 ml for 11,00 KM. The price on the card is for the smaller jar; the larger one costs 11,00 KM.
Know before you buy
This is a preserve, not fresh chilli. It is opened and eaten from the jar, best within three months of opening, and kept in the fridge until then.
Detail
No artificial colours or preservatives: vinegar, salt, pepper and coriander. The chillies are from their own growing.
