A Tepin Cappuccino seedling — species Capsicum annuum, 50,000 to 100,000 Scoville units, 2 out of 5 on the heat scale.
Small, round fruit that is most often eaten fresh; dried, it loses the character that defines it. The name comes from the colour of the ripe fruit and the creamy texture inside.
How to grow it
Sow in spring, give the seedling light, fruit in late summer. The plant is smaller than the large-fruited peppers, so the seedling does not stretch as long as theirs do.
When it arrives
Seedlings are delivered in spring (the site states late April), Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
